# Overview

How to play Fast Poker. No prior on-chain experience required.

## What makes this different from a normal poker site

| Normal poker site                                          | Fast Poker                                                                 |
| ---------------------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| You deposit into the operator's balance sheet              | You deposit into an on-chain protocol vault.                               |
| The site controls the shuffle                              | The deck is committed before cards are revealed and can be verified after. |
| Staff or insiders may be able to access privileged systems | Hole cards are sealed inside the TEE.                                      |
| You trust the site to pay you                              | Payout rules execute on chain.                                             |
| Loyalty points are off-chain                               | XP and $FP reward state live on chain.                                     |

## The three things you need

1. A Solana wallet.
2. SOL for buy-ins, fees, and network rent.
3. The Fast Poker app at `https://fast.poker`.

| Service fee         | 10% carved out of the fixed tier payment                             |
| $FP                 | Governed Raw $FP from tournament play                                |
| Jackpots            | Lucky and Royal                                                      |
